I call this the iTunes approach - Apple didn't invent MP3 collection and playback, they just made it really, really nice, and so they get all the credit. I think it was the first thing I thought up when I started programming, and I originally wrote something like this in BASIC on an Apple //e when I was 13-I called it "DiskDB." it was going pretty well, but then I simply ran out of RAM on my computer, so I couldn't write any more code. WS: Honestly, an application to catalog all your media is the least original idea ever.
